What is Crossfit?Constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity
All Crossfit workouts are based on functional movements that include gymnastics, Olympic weightlifting, running, rowing, and more. These functional movements are the core movements of life. Crossfit Humidity was started by Danielle and Korey Bromery out of their love and extreme passion for the wonderful fitness program that is, Crossfit.
The foundations class is a four session introduction training period in which you will work 1-on-1 with one of our fantastic coaches. Foundations are a mandatory class for those athletes who have had very little exposure to CrossFit. During your foundations classes, your assigned coach will teach you the 9 fundamental movements of Crossfit as well as other movements that you will see during a Crossfit WOD (Workout of the day). Once you are comfortable and your coach feels ready, you are free to attend any of our scheduled Crossfit classes.
The unlimited membership allows clients to attend as many scheduled classes and open gym periods they would like during the month.
Personal Training is for those individuals looking for great 1-on-1 coaching after Foundations. If you’re looking to improve your Olympic lifting technique, Gymnastics skills, or just want individual attention, Personal Training is the route for you!
Kids Fit is a fun and exciting functional fitness program designed for kids ages 5-12. Athletes will learn a lot of the same movements as the adults but with scaled weight and equipment designed just for the younger athletes all while building team work skills and developing great friendships.
